We are the people who brought you Pete’s Wicked Ale and revived America’s rich brewing traditions. We did it again by making vodka so different you can actually see, smell, taste and feel the difference for yourself.

The Process

The quality of the grains, state-of-the-art distilling technology and American ingenuity give SHAKERS Vodka its super-clean and smooth taste. Pat Couteaux, Master Distiller, perfected the process by picking the finest wheat and rye, making beer, distilling it, extracting impurities and filtering it in ways no other vodka does. The process creates a taste so clean and smooth, it's best over ice.

What Makes Us Different

We asked vodka lovers all over the U.S.A. if they would choose a superior, American-made vodka over the popular imported brands. Those who tasted us versus their favorite brand, without knowing, picked SHAKERS Vodka every time. Those who thought vodka had no taste or smell changed their minds; those who wanted a good tasting vodka found it. The most common response, “Wow. I had no idea vodka could taste like this.”

The Name

We picked the name SHAKERS because the cocktail shaker, the Martini and the Cosmopolitan are as American as it gets. Although the Europeans get credit for inventing vodka, it has long been America’s most popular spirit and a big part of pop culture. Since Americans first poured the Martini out of a cocktail shaker nearly 100 years ago, a penguin has stood the test of time as a symbol of prosperity and the good life.
